Cuban Drumming

I'm Gary Greenberg and I'd like to welcome you to my website:  cubandrumming.com

When I started drumming in 1982, I tried to learn any and every African rhythm that I could get my hands on. I eventually found that my greatest passion was in Afro-Cuban folkloric drumming. Over the years I've focused mainly on playing congas and bata. I have studied with great master drummers (as listed in my bio and books), and have compiled two books which are available from this website. I'd like to make the information that I've collected over the years available to others who share my interest. I welcome hearing from other aficionados of Afro-Cuban percussion.
